Oh my gosh, I love my package. There is much proper squeeage and pics below the cut. The package tried to arrive on Tuesday, but I was away visiting a friend, so picked it up this morning; it has really cheered me. It is a fabulous package, so a massive thank you to [profile] enui_iune

On Satyrday I scurried down to the PO to collect one huge box full of WIN but because of internet poo I had to wait all weekend to let out my squee! But now I finally get to fling my virtual arms around [livejournal.com profile] purpleheather and hug her to death for my awesome switchwitch package! :D

As you can see from the pictures below , I have been spoiled! There were delicious chocolate slabs and truffles (some of which I have already snuffled and much enjoyed...), Lush goodies including a HoneyBee ballistic, Floating Island bath melt and Ceridwen's Cauldron (which is one of my absolute favourite products!), gorgeous smelling lemon-bran soap, a set of adorable hand-printed notecards, a great CD of folk music compiled especially for me, a huge bag of home-made bath teas with lavender, milk and oats (I tried one out last night and they are super soothing and snoozy!), a lavender and linseed heat pack which will be a godsend for my pmt and is covered in the cutest cheshire-cat style grins to cheer me up, an adorable and oh-so-soft finger-knit scarf made from MERINO WOOL SHE SPUN HERSELF!!!! And the piece de resistance: Purpleheather has made me quilted imp case which is not only beautiful and useful and crammed full of some of my favourite and most-wanted wishlist items, oh no. It also happens to be made with fabric she created herself FROM SCRATCH by couching her own hand spun yarns. I reckon this woman has been blessed by Ariadne or something, and I feel blessed to own some of her creations.

Thank you so much Heather. I ADORE my package from start to finish.

and you can haz pictures!

(obviously the cable had been stolen by goblins, yes goblins, no really, it's not that I couldn't notice that it was sitting under my nose, it was the goblins!)

*ehm*

First of all: Kirsty, the committee for the world's worst present wrapper award just called, and said that you need to try much, much, much harder if you want to qualify for regional selections.

The evidence:the evidence! )

Answer: a swap package!
Pictures and squeeage will follow as soon as my internet connection is a bit more stable (it's the fourth time I try posting this) but I wanted to inform [personal profile] silvercobwebs that I got it and I'm a bit in love with her now :P

OMG squee

Well dear Spring swap person, you are an incredibly generous individual.  My darling husband had been to the Post Office to collect a parcel and hadn't told me that one had arrived for me so he just turned up at home with this huge envelope with cute foam cutout flowers. And inside was the most enormous collection of delightful things imaginable :-) including coffee, teapigs (I have been wanting to try these for ages!), a lovely pendant, Possets soap, chocolate and the most enormous collection of imps and samples, most of them off my wishlist and including

Hellion and Lump of Coal which I have wanted to try for just about forever.

I had also received a full bottle of Ivanushka about a month ago from my swap-person.   Thankyou SO much kind swapper, you have been generous above and beyond the call of duty.  I can't wait to find out who you are as I just had a mysterious card saying "Happy Spring" and no name.

Here's the gifts in all their glory

The little pile of flowers filled the envelope and they are SO CUTE!

So thankyou again

I received!

Thank you, secret swapper, for my package of win. I got a kind note explaining her thoughtful choices, plus a CD collection (which my partner has already appropriated), natural soap, handmade earrings, incense stick samples, amazing chocolate (one bar has already been stolen), and a book! On the Sandman! This is absolutely perfect for me, thank you so much. I also received decants, but unfortunately some smashed in transit. However, I think one of the casualties is Smut because there's a cloud of amazing scent coming off everything. So it's not all bad.

Photo!

Firstly, I must say thanks to [profile] la_colere and [personal profile] silvercobwebs for a fantastic meet and sniff in Aberdeen on Saturday.  I had a great time, much food was eaten and coffee drunk and perfumes were liberally daubed on skin whilst we yabbered on like people that had known each other for years, it was really, really good to meet you both.  Also, kudos to R for putting up with a load of yammering females squeeing like loons over perfume.

Secondly, I have received a mystery package in the post this afternoon - a bottle of Ivanushka (my current favourite!) and imps from someone in Hamburg who said that it was sent to me on "request from my secret spring time swapper".  So thankyou whoever you are you secret springtime switchwitch.
