Two shout outs

Firstly, I must say thanks to la_colere and silvercobwebs for a fantastic meet and sniff in Aberdeen on Saturday.  I had a great time, much food was eaten and coffee drunk and perfumes were liberally daubed on skin whilst we yabbered on like people that had known each other for years, it was really, really good to meet you both.  Also, kudos to R for putting up with a load of yammering females squeeing like loons over perfume.

Secondly, I have received a mystery package in the post this afternoon - a bottle of Ivanushka (my current favourite!) and imps from someone in Hamburg who said that it was sent to me on "request from my secret spring time swapper".  So thankyou whoever you are you secret springtime switchwitch.

I was gutted not to meet the woman who denuded my bank account with her wonderful group orders! Seriously though, you were definitely missed by everyone.

Oh, my darling Katefish! I had a TRES FAB time, and I'm so, so, sorry that I haven't had a chance to gush about meeting you and Kirsty in any sort of entry! (AS ALWAYS, IT'S BEEN ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER IN THIS HOUSE.)

Just as I expected meeting you for the first time certainly didn't feel like the first time; by the end of the day it was like I HAD ALWAYS KNOWN YOU ALL MY LIFE. I really had such a fantastic time, and I hope the next time you're anywhere near this area that you think about giving me a ring again.

(Maybe try for a Glasgow meet? Yes? No? I think I could organize something, but it'd require me to NOT WAIT TILL THE LAST SECOND as I'm now prone to do. But I think I have a good enough handle on Glasgow to be able to orchestrate something, even if we end up exploiting the leather coaches in the Travelodge's lounge/sitting area!)
