Epic summer swap squee post :)

On Saturday I finally made it to the post office to pick up the package I suspected was my summer swap box, and then had to run out the door again before I had time to write a proper post going ZOMG THANK YOU, so here it is, a little late! I don't actually own a camera, although I seriously wish I did because apart from anything else, I don't believe how awesome this package is, and a photograph would prove I'm not just imagining things!

I have :

* A veritable pile of CDs of 80s music, all of which I adore, and one of a Lisa Gerrard album, which I am so excited to listen to it's ridiculous :D Her voice is my hero, seriously.

* A pot of gorgeous purple glittery eyeshadow dust, one of those things I have frequently gone 'ooh' over in shops and then not got around to buying - I adore it :)

* Books! Books! Ohmygod. Un Lun Dun by China Miéville, whose books I have been wanting to get into for years, and The Light Ages by Ian R. Macleod, which looks amazing. Books!

* Not one but two jars of homemade preserves, both of which look divine. (I have really missed homemade stuff since moving out, I can't wait to try these. ♥ )

* A cascade of products from the evidently inspired Purple Dragon Emporium (currently closed for holidays - I'd never come across them before!) - bath melts in Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Truffle and Oatmeal, Milk & Honey, wax tarts in Baked Apple Pie, and perfume in Fairy Cakes and Oatmeal, Milk & Honey, which is indeed a dead ringer for BPAL's Dana O'Shee (one of my favourite scents ever) and all of which are extraordinarily true-to-life scents, taking me closer to fulfilling my ambition of smelling like baked goods and a chocolate factory ALL THE TIME :D

* You know how sometimes you can't even believe what you're typing? A pot of Arcana's Marshmallow Scrub, which I had long since given up on the idea of ever trying. Thank you thank you thank you!

* A whole bundle of perfumes and BPTP I'd never even thought of trying - a bottle of TKO massage oil, a bottle of Castitas bath oil, and samples from Possets (Pomona, which is gorgeous) and companies I'd never sniffed anything from, including three Starring! Fragrances samples which are absolutely stunning :)

All this and a lovely card, too. Thank you so, so much, bagfish, for all the thought you put into this amazing package - I love everything. (Books! :D)

And thank you emma2403 for coordinating everything - I was new at this this round, and I look forward to joining in everything in the future. :)

I just wanted to say a thank you to my swapee. I received my package on Friday, but haven't been online to post about it until now! I have taken photos and shall post a photo post in the next few days (when I have my camera lead!) For now, I just want to say I loved teh package, all the goodies are very me and I can't wait to try things out. Thank you to wikkidraven

Hello all this order has been placed, accepted, paid, e.t.c

I did ask about the free arcana bits - but they never said anything so I dont know if that means no,I have a feeling we wont get it becuase we get the free shipping which is a promotion in itself and these things are usually "not applicable with any other promotion or offer" but we will see.  Im not sure about asking them again - I dont want them to say no just becuase they are fed up of me asking them. Okay I know I only asked once - but... I guess it wil be a surprise either way!

It was still free shipping and only two items were out of stock! which is amazingly good compaired to last time! And if I ever place an order for this site again - please make sure I do it when there isnt a sale on, there should be lots more in stock then!
